Madi Sykes plugged in.

I’m 25- just on the cusp of the millennial generation. This is my 50 millionth attempt at maintaining a blog. It’s not so much that all my other blogs failed… it’s more like I failed my other blogs. They became boring to me. I lost interest in them. I was a bad blogger to abandon them with such swift action.

But I think this one will stick. I mean.. “Millennial Shit”.. that never gets old! I’m pretty sure that’s all I talk about these days, or at least, that’s all I hear about. Okay, well it may get old, but at least I’ll never run out of crap to blog about!

So what exactly do I mean by millennial? Think of your typical teenager and describe… funky, high-fashion, high-priced clothing, an innumerable amount of accessories, techie gadgets up the waazoo, more pop music knowledge than imaginable, green, independent, obsessed with their parents, obsessed with friends, shopping, media, entertainment… well, obsessed. I must admit, I fall into a number of these crutches… If our generation is interested in it, you better believe I’m blogging about it.

Week One Update: It is Tuesday, August 5th, exactly one week after launching my blog. At this moment I’ve had over 1000 visitors, almost 500 yesterday, and stats are looking good for today too- over 300 and it’s not even noon!

Thanks to all my visitors and fans for your support! I will continue to post relevant, interesting material for you. I’ve been averaging about 7 posts a day on a wide variety of topics, so you’ll never run out of stuff to read about.
